I feel very sorry for the poor birds. Why it should be a valid reason to shoot migratory birds puzzles me. Also the behavior of some individual hunters is enough to give them all a bad name. I wish that some enterprising person would set up clay pigeon shooting sites...in Cyprus.

Clay pigeons are used in Cyprus. By the Evretou Reservoir there is a water tank, on top of a big hill. If you go up there you will first of all get some stonking views of the surrounding area. Secondly, you will see lots of clay pigeons that have been shot at.

It should be banned altogether. It would also help solve the problem of abandoned dogs. I wonder how many hunters will get shot this year.

Yeah, it is the "Paphos Shooting Range" with a well established club and very busy at the weekends as I can hear them if the wind comes from that direction. But this noise is nothing if I compare it with the "war" noise as soon as the hunter's season starts...

Plenty of shooting around here, but I bet, I hope this wind effects where the shot ends up
