Water Based Satin Finish in White - FEEDBACK

We are moving away from solvent based paint, particularly indoors, as we both have problems with the fumes.

We're currently looking for a good water based satin finish brilliant white paint for our internal door frames.

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated, particularly on thickness of paint and quality of finish (apparently some of the paint can be 'watery' and leave brush marks).

Thanks in advance

I recently used water based Satin finish paint from Crown for our bathroom door and frame, took 3 coats due to the original finish of the door rather than paint quality, used a small roller so didn’t take long and would recommend it. Purchased in Glykis DIY, Polis.

I always use Benjamin Moore water based satin for door frames. You need to ensure that you prepare them properly and a light rub down with fine sandpaper before the final coat. You will need 3 coats as it doesn’t have the opacity of oil based paints but you won’t have the yellowing you get with the oil based.

One stop and Phillips DIY sell Benjamin Moore

Has anyone used Benjamin Moore's white elastomeric paint on internal door frames? We've used it on our exterior door frame and it's lasted for years and has remained brilliant while, although it does show brush marks.

Just thought we'd give some feedback.

We eventually went for Pelelac from Super Home, undercoat + satin finish top coat. We sandpapered off all the old solvent based paint, and wiped down with sugar soap. This morning we have put on the undercoat. Brilliant paint, goes on nice and smooth. We'll definitely be using water based paints for now on.
