Paphos Life Server Downtime

Post by Dominic »

The server has been a tad sluggish of late for me. How has it been for you? Some times it is fine. Other times pages take a while to load.

I have scheduled some maintenance which will take place at 3AM tomorrow (friday) morning. The server will be down for 15 - 30 minutes.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Been ok up until this morning. Very slow first thing but better now. I’d also like to thank you for the work you put in, it’s a great site

Seems fine at the moment. Companies expect you to turn up at ungodly hours to get services back on line but doing it on a social forum is "going beyond ....". Well done

I should stress that I wasn't up at 1AM sorting things out. I tell somebody at the server farm and they schedule the job.

Finding it very slow to load pages this afternoon - but that might be my internet connection as it is currently rather breezy and my connection is wireless (or am I now showing off my lack of technological knowledge?!)

I want people to say if it is slow. So don't worry, I won't take offence. :)

There is still an issue. From what I can see, about one page load in six takes a long time, whereas the others are fine. And it isn't because a specific page is taking a long time to load. It can be any page.

This is the problem I am getting:

I made that for the hosting company, but you may as well see it too.

Not the most interesting film, but you see me screen freeze twice.

When people have a problem, can they also post what country they are in, and who their ISP is? Any info might help track the issue down. It happens at randon and is not related to specific pages.
