Do you know Cyprus? Villages (#24)

Post by cyprusmax47 »

The vegetation is still quite green for the time of the year if you drive to this area... what is the name of the village on top of the hill?

No, that's wrong Yioula. Neo Chorio is surrounded from hundreds of new villas, built in the last 10 years or so...

Just a small hint: the village is only 1 km outside Paphos district on the Limassol side....

Another hint: only if you drive down a very deep valley coming from Anogyra, one will have this view of the village on the top of the hill...

Here a close up...

Normally the road to the village is more or less level when you come from Archimandrita on the way to Mallia. I discovered recently this very impressive road into that valley, crossing the Chapotami river, when I was exploring areas around Anogyra.

We were all round that area yesterday so we're surprised we didn't get it.
