Building a house

Post by thedon29 »

Morning all.
Im in the process of building a holiday home in a village and have put the necessary paperwork in (permit to build). Have been told permission has been rejected as the house has to have stone on it.
Anyone with similar story?

A lot more questions to be answered here. 1) is it a Prefab. 2) is it a wooden House. 3) is it in a greenbelt area.

Maybe stone facing on walls which are visible from the road, rather than building in solid stone would be a solution?
