Has anyone used KEM rental cars from the airport.They seem quite reasonable.

Beware, many car hire outlets have a basic price then start adding on extras and before you know it you are paying exactly the same as the outlet next door.

That is very true, when we moved over many years ago I never had a car here. I still had air miles left over so I used it for “free” car hire for 10 days. By the time they had added everything on it it would have been cheaper for me to have rented from Easy Car as we always did on holidays.
