I agree.

Not a great fan of cricket, but what an absolute cracker of a final.

I was glued to telly, and yes, well done to both teams.

And even the F1 did not disappoint for a change.

Do feel sorry for Roger though.

Not normally a great fan of tennis or cricket but this was a spectacular performance by both sports perhaps never to be repeated on the same day
Must try to find out the secret of how tennis players can exert so much energy for so long

Surely when England were all out for 241 and NZ were241 for 8 then NZ should have won having less men out.

No, number of wickets is irrelevent. It is the score that counts. If the scores had tied, then they would have counted who hit the most fours and sixes, which was England. This was why NZ needed to get more than England in the "Super Over".

These are the rules.

The teams all knew the rules before a ball was bowled, so nothing to worry about.

I wonder what the father had to say to Ben after the game?

Father Gerard Stokes - represented NZ at rugby league

Ben was born in NZ and moved to the UK when he was 12.
