Power Cut in Peyia

I’m curious being a woman but does anyone know the reason we had a two and a half hour power cut last evening? There has been nothing in the local press and no comments about it on this web.

I think it was only in certain areas of Peyia.
I could see lights ( during the cut ) beyond the football stadium, towards the sea.

According to EAC there were some cut wires.

Cut wires? Oh well we do live in Cyprus nothing surprises us but it would have been nice for an explanation!!!

If it’s not the water then its the electric that’s off.....why would anyone want to live in such a place

I know we are always complaining about something but we still love it here, just wish we were informed better!!!

I did but they just told us there was a problem and the engineers were working on it

Thousand of people from lots different places in the world seem to like peyia mr aquila including cypriots
