Paphos tourism board welcomes new Ryainair flights

The Paphos regional board of tourism on Thursday welcomed a decision by Ryanair to expand its presence at the town's airport with the addition of new destinations....

Can’t understand why Ryanair doesn’t fly to Athens from Paphos

Cyprus Airways
Blue air
Alitalia
Lufthansa
Austria air
+ others, maybe thats why Ryan air isnt going for it?

...and I meant to say "from Paphos"!

Over the years, many airlines have run a brief service from Paphos, but presumably there's an issue - low number of bums on seats, landing fees etc.

Ryanair run a twice-daily (at times, daily otherwise) service to Thessaloniki, so there must be a reasonable number of punters for that route.

We used to fly with Ryanair to Athens it was twice a week service but they ended it because of high landing fees at Athens unfortunately.

High landing fees because they want/ force us to fly Aegean ?
Very inconvenient living in Paphos, flying often to Athens
An extra €200 per trip for the Taxi
