Four-hour taxi strike on Thursday
Re: Four-hour taxi strike on Thursday
You might find the leaflet on the link below interesting. Clearly nearly all taxi drivers in Paphos are breaking the law on a daily basis. Everybody moans, but how many complain to the appropriate authority (see the attached leaflet). Nobody does of course, but if they did then perhaps things would change.

Out of interest, have any of you made a complaint as indicated in the leaflet?

According to the leaflet, the cost of a trip from the airport to Paphos city centre would be €14.
I don't think so!

I avoid using any of them! I have a couple of favourite taxi drivers, and I book with them. They give an honest quote. I would never get into a taxi from the airport with one of the drivers who hang around arrivals...I wish something could be done to root out the Paphos mafia which must exist among some drivers. It just gives them all a bad name.
That leaflet must be years out of date!
