How far is Armou from Paphos? Are there any 'must see' places to visit in the area? My daughter has just booked a villa there for a holiday this summer but I don't know anything about the area. Joyce

Armou is a pleasant, quiet, hill side village about 3km from Paphos. You reach it from the roundabout at the end of the motorway. A good road, steep initially, leads there. On the way you pass through Konia. Armou is higher up and to the left hand side of the road, it is clearly signposted.

A must see place is definitely the rocks of Episkopi. As Armou lays already on the Paphos to Episkopi road, it is only 7 km further to reach that view:
( of course you need also a rental car for that...)

Lived there for fifteen years and love it. Very quiet and everywhere is very accessible. About 7 kilometres to the harbour and there is a bus service several times a day but a car is advisable as the bus is infrequent.
Theres a small kiosk at the entrance to the village.

Forgot to say, the village is above the Humidity Line and there is usually a nice cool breeze in the afternoons.

As HIC says, a car is essential. Don't even think of staying there without one.
