Internet Bank transfers

Hi
I am with Alpha Bank, I have never used the bank transfer facility on my internet banking.
I need to pay into an account with the Bank of Cyprus I have the sort code and account number but was wandering do I also need to have all the other information like Iban, BiC and bank address etc.

I don't know about transfers between Cyprus banks but I use internet banking back in the UK. To set up a money transfer all you need to input is the person's name, sort code and account number. If it is a new payee then your bank will text you a code number that you also have to put on the page to confirm it is you and that is all.

My Santander bank will not transfer over £20,000 in one go 😊 Hope this helps a bit.

You need Iban for alpha transfers unless within alpha
