Boris telling lies?

Post by boycott »

Looks like that nice Boris Johnson is off to court for allegedly telling lies about the supposed £350 per week that goes to the EU on the side of the Boris bus.

Sorry it is from the Daily Mail and the script is to long to copy onto here - to read the link is https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... ation.html

I have no problem with him been taken to task over this but does that mean that MP's will have to tell the truth?
IF found guilty it would set a very interesting precedent!

Politicians having to tell the truth? Haha, now that is as likely as water running uphill. They should all be taken to court for the lies they tell. Some of them for dodgy dossiers.

Boris has said this same thing at least twice in parliament, while a Minister. He was warned after the first time NOT to repeat it, as it wasn't true. he did and under ministerial code, should have been kicked out of parliament, but winder of wonders....

...but this is surely no worse than the lies Blair told over the Gulf war?! At least Boris doesn't have the blood of 1000’s on his hands.

Lets be a little patient with politicians.Enoch Powell said what he truly thought and got fired.Whether he was right or wrong the message went out for politicians not to say what they think.Say what the electorate wants to hear and make sure its politically correct and you,ll keep your job in Westminster.....Rocket science?
