Geroskipou beach (Riccos)yesterday AM, are clearing that seaweed off again, as you can see our dog loves the stink!

You could smell it from the airport road. The guy from the watersport centre reckons there must be around 75 to 100 trucks full of seaweed on the beach. Worse this year then last. Tourists think the smell is sewerage which could put some people off coming here again. I would not like to be staying at the Phaethon Beach hotel whilst it was being cleared.
I really think that they should clear the beaches of this seaweed before the Easter tourists arrive. Below is Geroskipou Beach at the beginning of April. They started clearing it just as the British tourists arrived for Easter, so anyone staying at the nearby hotel would be able to smell the awful stench.

When you say they are clearing it, where do they remove it to if there is up to 100 truck loads

Trev most of the weed gets dumped at the back of the hotels, not far away, it doesn't rot or is of any other use, nobody's fault part of the sea at that part of town.
