A lot of fabrication here from all sides of the coin. None of us seems to know the answer. So like many other pensioners, we are sitting on the fence and watching. Must say it would be nice if the UK Govt did continue to pay the costs for us.

Is it true the uk pays cyprus £1,500 a year fo each S1 holder ?

If I had to pay tax on my pension for Gesy it would be about 300€ a year .

In the uk it is hard to get to see a GP , imagine if they introduced a scheme where you could pay to see a private GP for a quid ?

Like everything else. I don't think the system is anywhere ready to roll, that's why you cant get a definite answer.

A GP told me that they will be putting the start date back to September but he reckoned it would be more like sometime early next year, we will just wait and see.n

"Nice"......I think for many it's pretty much essential
Absolutely essential for us. 1.7% may not sound much and then it will be going up next year, but it depends on how much you have to start with!

You´d not only have to pay contributions based on your pension but on all your income.
