I can get on to their site, but my regular morning emails stopped a few days ago so yesterday I re-signed up for them...weird....I am hoping soon I won't be too interested in the weather as it will be sunshine everyday lol.

We used to use the Weatherunderground API to get weather information for Paphos Life. They recently closed it. To continue we would have had to fork out some 600 euros a month. And that's never going to happen.

So, now we use the Accuweather API. The free version has some limitations. I can only get daily forecasts, not hourly ones, for instance.

However, I am able to poll more weather stations, so the latest version of the weather page and weather matrix display info on a wider number of locations. They just don't display hourly information, and only update twice a day.

When I get time, I will be able to write a routing to generate a weather map, like you get on the telly.

In the meantime, if anybody knows a business that would like to sponsor the weather page, and allow us to use a paid-for version of Accuweather's weather API, then do have them get in touch.

Oh, one final thing. There is a formatting issue on the weather page at the moment, to do with longer text descriptions of the weather. That should be fixed later today.

It seems a ten-day forcast is still available via WeatherUnderground. I found the page is slow to load, be just be a little patient.

Lovely sunny day. Did a bit of sunbathing as well. Watching the butterfly's as they look like they are trying to mate. They are all on the wild flowers in front of our balcony. This is the life.
