Rain, storms and snow set to return

Although higher than normal temperatures are expected for Green Monday, people should make the most of them as winter weather is set to return later in the week.On Monday the temperature is set to reach 22C inland, 20C on the coast and 15C on higher ground.However by Tuesday afternoon clouds will gather with even the chance of rain in the evening....

My take is that Tuesday afternoon maybe cloudy but I don't forecast rain. However, it could rain heavily in thundery showers on Wednesday but be fine again by Thursday. I would be surprised to see snow returning, even at altitude.

That is the same as weather underground at the moment, then Friday/Saturday possible showers and back to sunshine thereafter!

On Windy.com the forecast for Wednesday is rain sometimes heavy with thunderstorms in the afternoon.. But this is for the Paphos/ Polemi district

We just started watching the clouds rolling in, or what we thought were clouds, but then everything turned into a thick mist, I wish i had taken a video as it was pretty cool to see it come so fast....the rain, thunder and lightning have just started here in Tsada

Just drove up from town in the rush hour, we could not see through the windscreen as the car suddenly steamed up, the trick is to put on the AC at the front windscreen, it worked, not cold though but certainly lively with thunder and very wet again. It always amazes me how many of the locals drive without lights, very dangerous in the dark dank weather.

Quite a bit of rain, some thunder, but quietened down now in Tremithousa, fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll be under the table with the kittens with the blanket over our heads!!

It arrived suddenly,late afternoon. Huge lightning,thunder and HAIL Stones followed by driving rain. Lasted about an hour only.
