Sad news I'm afraid.

Just had this email from Rita's daughter:

It is with the heaviest heart that I must tell you that mum had a stroke when she was in the UK for Christmas, and that she died on Monday 21st January.

Mum wanted her funeral to be in the UK and I'm beginning to organise that now. At a later date I hope to have a memorial service in Cyprus.

Her daughter also left her email address, which I am more than happy to pass on should anybody wish to contact her.

I liked Rita's posts, and will miss her. Rest In Peace.

Oh I'm so sorry to read this. Rita was one very clever lady, and I respected and admired her, her posts were always informative and factual.

She will be greatly missed by all of us I'm sure.

Dear Lord, this is just the saddest news. Have known Rita through the forums for many years and she was always such an informative, helpful and sensible person. Her advice was always so precise, so useful for so many. She will be greatly missed here by so many of us.

A true lady. Someone who only had kind and informative words to say.

Not a bad bone in her body. There are very few of them around and we were all lucky enough to be touched by her.
