Cacophony of Chainsaws.

Sat here listening to chainsaws felling Carob and other trees, just wondering is there any control over what is felled?
Never see any replanting, always happens as winter approaches, soon there won't be any trees left.....

As far as I know it is not allowed to fell Carob trees.
