Well they are real and they sell them on Amazon in the UK and are about £4.50 per 500gms. try the Nut shop on the seafront by the harbour they seem to have every variety.

Smudged...You must remember Spanish Wood..that really was eating a part of a tree. Good quality Tiger Nuts taste of a milky coconut. Great to reduce high blood pressure

Reseey, I do remember the Spanish wood, tasted of licquorice if I remember, lasted for days, specially with stuff we called Kali - sweet flavoured sugar crystals - can't just recall the name!!

Tiger nuts are used by Carp fisherman in the main as a bait and attractant.
In addition they are also popular for human consumption.
No ridicule from me.
