How strange. I was in the home centre this morning and they asked for my card to put the points on ???

Yes I went and gave them my card. Was told to redeem the points as UNIQUE is now in force. So I got my €3.40 voucher. Gave them my mobile and thats it sorted. I am now a UNIQUE customer.

Hmm then I am alone..I prefer the card. Your mobile can be exploited. There may be many sales companies start to offer you goods via your mobile so I am reluctant to ever give it out to shops.

I have found that once you give your mobile number to some (not all) shops, you end up with lot's of SMS's..

I found out that if I give them my wife's phone number I don't get any SMS's !!

We dont bother with loyalty cards, I get the feeling, you have to spend a thousand euro to get a ten euro voucher back.

Theoretically yes, but in practice I never get junk sms's or phone calls, and quite a number of retailers have my phone number.

Of course you don't as you are such a clever clogs.
