Nice photos and looks impressive Jim. Two questions. Did you participate & how does the price compare to the Eye currently about £23 pp?

Louise, of course, you can...

Norv never been to London in fifty years so do not have an answer, this one at the Luna park looks impressive but you will not catch me going up there, no pilots licence. It will be I guess cheaper than the London eye, most things are cheaper here, :)

That's nowhere near the size of the London Eye. I remember in the 90s, when I lived in London, we walked down to the Thames to have a look at the eye Eye while they were assembling it. We couldn't find it at first, because we had underestimated how big it was. I wasn't expecting much when I actually went on it, but it was an amazing experience.

It would definitely be worth a ride on that wheel though, it is amazing how different everything looks from a height.

(London Eye come to Paphos)

Only a joke Dom, I thought obvious as I said, London bridge had only just opened the last time I was in London, and that was soon enough for me. ;)

I realised you were joking Jim. :)

If you ever are in London though, it is well worth a ride. Just don't go at peak time.

My Norwegian neighbours were on the London Eye last week and were very impressed.

I agree. It's one of the few attractions in London that is worth the admission fee.

If you want a pro tip for maxing out your fun, time your visit to coincide with low tide. Then you can walk down onto the Thames "Beach" after you leave the Eye, and walk up to Tower Bridge. You will see more history along that shore than you will in a museum trip, plus you will see London from a completely different angle you are used to.

Looks fantastic when lit up at night. Could do with Max going down to take some photos.

Done the London Eye several times, if you are in London and get the chance, do it twice, once in daylight and again at night. Two very different experiences.

The Luna park has upped its game a lot better than before the big wheel is from Denmark and yes its working 6euro each in July might be more now.

Best go on it while it is new, heaven knows whether the maintenance it will need will be carried out ‘by the book’!
