Lovely CLEAR air today

Post by Dominic »

So nice to be out and about in the lovely clear air today. Hot, but so beautiful.

No sign of any lens cap though.

Lovely pictures Dom. I have not been taking my camera down for my daily walks to the coastal path but have been leaving Anarita at 6:30am and, the last two days at 6am. Surprising how busy the path is at this early hour. Both yesterday and today, the sea was like a millpond.

What size lens cap did you lose, Dom? And is it a simple cup that pushes over the lens (like an eyepiece on binoculars) or a more fancy squeeze and click/unclick jobbie like for an SLR camera?

Years ago, I lost a 45mm eyepiece cap for my prized Swift 8x40 binoculars, when walking around Paphos harbour (observing Kingfishers). Retraced my steps to and fro, but never did find it...

However, I found an outlet on eBay yesterday that might sort us both out at minimal cost.

Cheers- AL :)

I already bought a very good replacement from Amazon:

And anything you buy through that link will give us a pittance. :)

I have to say that, though the pittance bit is probably not quite what they had in mind.
