Tendonitis?

Post by daveg »

Anyone out there have any recommendations as to who to see to relieve Achilles Tendonitis? It disturbs during the night when at rest...
Google says it's caused by excessive sport but I don't think my Domino's playing can be the reason 😁.

This might sound a daft question but have you changed your shoes lately.

You might find a different pair may give you some relief as your foot may be pulling on the tendons to much with the change of shoes.

I have this in my left shoulder and it still gives me problems 4 years later as I cannot throw a ball as I get a tearing sensation and pain from the shoulder after wards.

Presumably Tendonitis is an inflamation of the tendon, caused by strain or over use? Perhaps rest will help the tendon heal itself? But if you haven’t seen a doctor yet, you should see him first for a diagnosis and suggested treatment options.
