Uktv media

Post by Mrblobby »

Anyone else lost it tonight ?

First there was no tv channels , but the video club was still working .

Tried to reboot but it gets nowhere , just sticks on the barbers pole .

Have had severe glitching on BBC4 now for the last 2 weeks or more. On a number of occasions it has been bad enough to switch off.

We have a mag box and we lost all intenet last night, so don't think it was a tv box issue. We put it down to the thunderstorm yesterday evening.

Our MAG box conked out last night too. Along with the internet, and the electricity.

For certain no streaming IPTV will work without the Internet, storms do cause this problem, if in doubt reboot the device by powering down, then back on again.

No idea what you use for a server, but both mine stayed on until late last night, but if no Internet then just go to bed with a book. :)

It seams like some people are confused about who “Uktv media “ are , they are a server similar to Ntv .

This is the first time I have ever had a problem in over a year of great service .

I'm not confused. Is anybody else?

NTL were taken over by Virgin many years ago. Now that will confuse things...

As were Telewest and Cable&Wireless. All 3 cable platforms ran on different systems, making life a bit complicated for us hackers. But over the years, Virmin have gradually refined their entire UK cable network so it's now all pretty much the same. They don't even use cards any more!
