Just out of curiosity: what would have happened if it was a match in the English Cup? Are there female Refs? Yellow card - Red card?

Confused now, as stated in the article: “We’ve two FIFA referees – myself and Morag Pirie – and for the first time we’ve four FIFA assistants."

Being a FIFA referees means they are registered and approved to officiate games abroad, not yet in the UK.
