Was thinking the last comments from Dominic about his skills with his own drone. Imagine the opportunities he will have when he is out on unexplored places, how he does usually for his Blogs.... I am sure no dangerous creatures (spider, scorpions, snakes...) are hiding anymore... and his wife is perhaps more relaxed then when he is out alone.

I'm still at the "chasing my drone into the distance" stage I am afraid.

It's probably looking for my first one which suddenly refused to respond to the controls and shot away into the distance probably ending up in scrubland never to be seen again!

The difficulty I find is finding a wide open field to practice in that is drone friendly. I had one on the Akamas but then Spring arrived and the area was covered in thick weeds which played havok with the drone.

Ha ha. It sounds like your drone control is similar to mine! A wide open field is a must - no electricity cables, trees or other obstructions. If you find a good one that's big enough please let me know!

Fortunately I live in a valley that only has a few houses and the nearest apart from one neighbour is a kilometre down the valley. Still managed to hit one of only three trees but luckily no damage.
