Postage for cards to the UK

Post by kansas »

May seem like a daft question as we could pop into the Post Office to confirm, but to save our legs does anyone know the current postage for Christmas cards to the UK. Is it still 64 cents, plus the 2 cents for the defence. Thanks

It all depends on the size of the card, but 67c is a good start.

I sort of agree with Alan, but the postage depends on the weight of the card, and they have scales on the counter. Well they do at the General Post Office..

We posted around 30 cards to the U.K. the other day, I think 64 cents each plus the extra 2 cent stamp. Total cost including 3 others to USA, Canada and Australia was €22.11. Cards were all a similar size, fairly average size (purchased with postage costs in mind 😂😂)

Never worked out how it’s so cheap - card goes to U.K. and delivered in the U.K. for less than the cost of a U.K. second class stamp. Bargain.
