Yes, quite true. I saw this info when looking at the results of the last Govt Survey of the population.It's largely due to the worrying fact that Cypriot families who once had large families, now tend to have only one or two children. Perhaps due to their economic circumstances.The majority of immigrants have few or no kids, and then there is a regular intake of retirees here from other countries, some from N European ones.

Many come here for retirement - the young Cypriots with their university degrees get employment away from the island, unfortunately it’s becoming an “elephants grave yard”
