Cyprus Countryside Drive - Polemi & Upper Ezousa

Post by Dominic »

This drive was fun! I was out exploring the countryside around Polemi, looking for hidden gorges. I got carried away and emerged by the village of Agios Dimitrianos. As the journey took over half an hour, compared to the five minutes it took me to get back to Polemi on the main road, this is a lousy shortcut. However, the route takes in some beautiful countryside, as I drove through the hills that skirt the Ezousa Valley.

Most people thinking of holidaying in Cyprus won't normally bother with a film like this, which is a shame, and a mistake! I'm not saying you should follow this route in a hire car, but you can get similar views by sticking to the main roads and just going out exploring. We can help there, too. Our Road Trip eBooks will take you to lovely places with beautiful scenery, and they won't invalidate your car insurance!

To enjoy 360 films you must watch them at a high a resolution as possible. Ramp the resolution up to 5K if you can. If it looks excessively blocky it is because your resolution is set too low.

Once you are viewing the film, you can move the camera about to look at whatever you like. On a tablet, or phone, just swipe in the way you want to go. On a computer, use the mouse or the W,A,S and D keys to point the camera. If you pause the film, you can still move the camera about.
