Armou Viewing Platform

Post by Dominic »

In this film we take a look at a new viewing platform that has been built at the village of Armou, which lies just to the North of Paphos City. Similar in appearance to one we reported on recently near Pomos Reservoir, this new feature is sure to become popular with the Selfie-loving Public as it provides a perfect place to be photographed in front of a stunning backdrop.

Nice little film from my area. Thank you.

I know your Greek pronunciation is improving lately, for example "Phinikas", but this time for the village name of Mesa Chorio you had a slight problem

You have to pronounce it " Mesa Korio " similar to Neo Chorio (Neo Korio). By the way Chorio means village in English language. However I don't want to play the schoolmaster.... ;) but I was always happy when somebody corrected my poor English.

As an octogenarian it's a place I could manage on our next visit to Cyprus & will brush up on the correct pronunciation of place names :)

Thanks for sharing

The land directly below the viewing tower I was told is shared by the owners of the houses in the Kitrikes complex who have an equal share to stop any further development and is classed as a green area.
