Crowding at rapid test point in Paphos (video)

Post by memory man »

Lots of people were found at the Mall of Paphos where rapid tests are being conducted and as a result chaos prevailed.

Mayor of Paphos Phaidon Phaidonos released a video showing the problems the citizens were facing, noting that the Health Ministry has failed.

Let alone having to breathe in the noxious car exhaust fumes and the location of the car wash facility nearby!

We just found a much quieter place for our daughter. It only cost 5 euro.

Yes, I think that €5 is what private pharmacies should charge for a rapid flow test.

Yes, the average price in the Paphos District is €5 per rapid test.

Some laboratories and pharmacies offer a prepay system ie pay up front for X number of tests and thereby offering a discount so it works out at €3.50 per test. One pharmacy stamps the card at each visit (€5 per test) at the time of payment and after 10 visits the next test is free.

In Nicosia and Limassol €3.50 is the average price.

I've only found 1 charging €5 and another doing 3 for €20 the rest are €10 each, I volunteer in a charity shop but as I've had covid and unable to have the booster for another 2 months I need a wkly test to continue and the charity is willing to pay rather than face those queues so grateful if anyone know of any more cheaper pharmacies

Yes, Tassos Aspros, Chloraka. Same price. Very efficient there, I'm told. There are also 3 other pharmacies in Chloraka, who you could try.
