Saturday lunchtime, sunshine and huge Barracuda...

Post by cyprusmax47 »

Perhaps last time this year one could sit outside in the Autumn sun and enjoy fresh Barracuda, as Winter is on its way...

Anyhow, they informed me that they caught a Barracuda today, but it is a bit large for one person......I said never mind, I will have it.

and here we are

I ordered only village salad and bread as the fish was 1/2 kg big. Long shades as the Sun at the moment is on the lowest

I just love their salad with a lot of extra garlic and celery. I never manage to get salad so tasty at home...

finally the main subject, plenty sea salt on top, delicious also the Tsanggarides Xynisteri to wash it down..

There was no space for dessert of course after that size of fish, only Greek coffee glykos. I enjoyed a lot these 2 hours and was heading back home for a nice cup of green tea and some more sunshine before my fasting time sets in. ( 2 meals per day, 18:6)

It is very rare that they have Barracuda on the menu, this year I think 3 or 4 times. But if you are lucky....
Barracuda is not only tasty but also very healthy. (specially Vitamin D)
