Luckily it was a clear early morning when I woke up and looked out of the window and realised some interesting clouds are forming at the horizon. So quick out of bed and camera in action...

Just before sunrise

I am glad you still like these type of photos, even when I posted often similar ones in the past. On the other hand every single pic is unique as nature plays the game....The biggest problem was for me to choose from 28 exposures I did that morning.

Lovely photos and very dramatic!
Unfortunately, I woke to a very different scene. Heavy cloud, Coast was shrouded in mist, so no sign of sun. Instead darker clouds to the south, over the sea, low rolls of distant thunder, as the storm approached. No wind. The storm took a while to reach land, and when it broke, heavy rain. Very welcome for the garden!
But all over by about 10.30 when the sun came out and the sea and sky were blue again!
