Relaxing Cyprus - Kato Pyrgos

Post by Dominic »

Take the coast road from Polis and keep going East.

And going. And going. And going.

Finally, you arrive at Kato Pyrgos. So find the ancient watchtower, and have a look around. Or sit back, relax, and watch this film instead.

Its worth going up to see Pano Pyrgos at least once. They make charcoal there.

Definitely Dominlc,it seems a lot of people aren't very adventurous ,it's amazing how many people who have lived this end of the island for years haven't even heard of Polemi!

I suppose they don't need to go to Polemi or even to Paphos. I believe that I'm right in thinking that most of the time when the border is open, people from Pyrgos area may cross over to the north while en route for Nicosia, for medical and shopping reasons.

I always enjoy a drive to Kato Pyrgos. I find it relaxing and often reward myself with a snack at "Grape on the beach", heaven!
Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day.
