We used to pay for a subscription T V but rarely watched it, we also have a Clear Stream system. We now have a redundant box. Is there some way that we can use it for a Freeview backup.

As far as I know, you will have to take out a cheap subscription (say, €5-10/month) to use a mag box.

I *think* that Triotech who sell the clearstream boxes offer a freeview catch up service for €2 per month

Just to get in this. Can anyone advise . Do the Firestick system have catch up and all UK channels as well as sky. TIA

I have a firestick which I have used in CY.
I can get BBC I Player on catch up once I have my VPN set to UK
I didn't try the ITV/4/5 catch up

I can't get Sky (legally) on it
