What lovely pictures - thank you so much and a Happy May Day to you and all on the site.
Mr Blobby - Your picture brought back memories to me - not of Salford itself as I lived in Newcastle-Under-Lyme around that time but of participating in our local Maypole dancing.

I remember having to dance around May Poles as a child!
