Old identity cards not bearing an expiry date to be abolished

The Civil Registry and Migration Department announced that old identity cards that do not have an expiry date will be valid until 3 August 2026 and then will be abolished.So, owners of these identity cards are asked to replace them by 3 August 2026....

Thank you for the link Dominic, very helpful. Had already problems with my over 30 year old "taftotita" (ID-card) when presenting it in order to get a new driving licence at Paphos District Post office (citizen service). They refused to accept it.
