Jet2 flight cancellations

Post by Cappielow1 »

I was due to fly with Jet2 on 21 August.

Just received an email telling me the flights been cancelled 😡😡

I've managed to rebook for the same dates with Easyjet from Edinburgh for roughly the same cost.

Fourth time lucky hopefully 🤞

TUI have also announced lots of changes today by destination and dates of operation. The list is as long as your arm 🤐

A lot of firms are consolidating flights, it doesn’t make business sense to fly half empty planes
If you never ask the question, the answer will always be....no

Sorry to hear about Tui, Jet 2 and I know from past experience that EasyJet also cancel flights in this current uneasy situation due to the Pandemic.
However hats off to Ryanair, who are quietly going about their business, as after numerous cancelations of my booked flights with EasyJet, to Bristol, I booked with Ryanair. My flight Paphos- Bournemouth last Saturday went ahead. Its a day flight, left slightly ahead of schedule and arrived 20 mins early at Bourrnemouth. It's a very small airport, but very efficient. Unlike Bristol it is connected to a good road network.
Yes. It was a longer journey back to my flat in Cheltenham, but well worth it.
It is an easier option than going BA to LHR with all the delays there at immigration and the size of Terminal 5.
