Easyjet Finances

Post by harveywinning »

Just been reading in the paper today that Easyjet's losses for the first nine months of it's financial year were over £1billion and that they burning through cash at a rate of £34million per week. Horrendous.

Interestingly they apparently only operated 17% of flights in June 2021 compared to the pre-pandemic June 2019. However Ryanair operated 37% and Wizz Air 43% so I'm not sure what's going on.

He's 23, but I couldn't find anything about his qualifications, other than his parents are rich and he flew a lot as a child.

Beats me why anybody would pay any attention to him, but there you go.

I guess it depends on whether it suits your narrative. Clutching at straws springs to mind! ;)

I know all that. I read it when I looked him up. It didn’t mention a single actual qualification.

Kettle, pot, black. If only you were a little more open-minded and widely read you'd know who Alex Macheras is. And I would suggest he knows a more than most on here about air travel.
I'm very open minded and very widely read. However, if you didn't jump to conclusions quite so quickly you may have realised I wasn't talking about him or his qualifications.........
