Metal Shepherds Crooks for Lanterns

Post by kansas »

We're looking for a couple of metal shepherds crooks for hanging solar lamps on. Used to see them in many of the DIY shops and Garden centres but not any more.

If anyone has see them for sale would appreciate knowing, or maybe a recommendation for a metal workshop that could make them.

Thank you

Pegasios at Artifex on Mesogi Avenue would make you some, but I've no idea how much they would cost (he's a blacksmith by trade, and a very good wrought iron manufacturer)

Apparently, the poles they use to mark boundaries and cordons with tape along building sites and roadworks are supposed to be excellent stakes for garden lanterns.

Discussed recently on an overseas Facebook group I'm a member of (not a Cyprus one) but I'm sure they must be available.
