Re: Murray
A sad day indeed.
I watched F1 religiously every Sunday no matter what time it was live on TV.
But that all stopped when we moved to Cyprus in 2004. Watching the footage on TV in a bar with English commentary coming from another source felt too unfamiliar and just didn't work for me.
I tried to get into it but all the fun had gone.
Murray Walker had the most perfect timing of making a supposition only to be called out a split second later. Bless him xx

Re: Murray
The number of times James Hunt had to correct MW's mistakes was hilarious and was one of the reasons for listening to his commentaries, which in my opinion were not very good. Having said that RIP Murray.PhotoLady wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 11:40 am A sad day indeed.
