Hi all
I’m hoping to plant a petrokeraza Cherry tree in my garden, it’s a local variety.
I’ve tried to google growing conditions to no avail.
Has anyone grown this variety and what do I need to be mindful of?
I’m in Polemi and in a bit of a frost pocket

Re: Cherry trees
In my opinion it is more likely too hot at Polemi for the "petrokeraza" black cherry. They grow well at higher altitudes like Panayia, Arsos, PeraPedi...
I tried them in the 80's at NeoChorio with no luck. However, I remember seeing trees at Lysos area which is only 100 m higher than Polemi.
