Mag Box, Subtitles..

For some unknown reason, on our Mag Box yesterday we had subtitles in the middle of the screen.
As far as i know it is only on BBC1.. I know about the tone button and getting to the subtitles On/Off option. Of course I have set the subtitles to be OFF.. But when I go back to BBC1 the subtitles are still on screen..
Does anyone else have this problem ??

Update.. I have contacted the supplier and they have the same problem on plain BBC1 .. They will try and sort it..

Last night, in the middle of "University Challenge", I got in the middle of the screen a copyright notice, lasting about five seconds. This was the first time I have seen this. That was on BBC2.
