Certain points have been clarified. Also note that Option 8 now has a list showing what is included, so you can't just use it for anything.

I'm feeding a friend's pets, a couple of miles away, whilst they are in the UK. Until this new amendment, I could fit it in Category 8. Des this now mean I have to leave them to starve?

Strictly speaking I think it means you can only go there twice a day. If you have shopping as well you would have to incorporate the feeding into the shopping trip...
