You may call 1474 to book it by phone if you have difficulty registering online.

Don’t forget that you may need to put the middle name on the log in too?

The list of priority groups has been published several times, if you’re over 75 you’re in the next phase, if over 16 and withone of the conditions that puts you in the at risk group, you’re in the phase after that, if below 75 and without one of the conditions you’re in the final phase of the current plan, timing will depend on volumes in each group, supply of vaccine and ability to distribute it.

Details in the national plan here:

I tried to book on 1474 last week twice for MOH 85 yearsold. Fully booked try again. Next day tried again no more vaccine left. Ring Monday, ( today). I rang at 8a.m. told I was in queue, by automated voice after several minutes, you are first in queue. After about 12 minutes it cut off! Rang again, would not even accept the call, Tried GESY, that would not go through. Phoned Dr, he had already tried to register and sent me a copy of the form saying full! Phoned hospital, she said they only make vaccine not appointments and that they only had 75 vaccines. Ring again Monday. I complained. Someone rang from Nicosia, same advice, ring Monday. I had phoned Cyta and they checked the line, they couldn't get through either. What chance have we got to get an appointment when they all gone by opening time on the day? My GP is pulling his hair out!

My wife tells me, an 84 year old friend of hers was called by her GP this morning and told to report to Famagusta Hospital next Monday for her Covid jab, she is enrolled under GESY but had never called to register for a jab, they simply called her. I like that method.

So what point is there to struggling to contact the Gesy portal. Much better if GP's are able to book appointments.

But there still seems to be a shortage of appointments.. Unless of course some of the people who are reporting they cannot get through on the phone are in the wrong age group ..

How would being in the wrong age group stop them getting through on the phone?

Perhaps HIC could enlighten us how his “kind” Doctor made his appointments given that the patient is supposed to be phoning .
There are 33,000 people on Cyprus over 80 and about the same over 70 according to Eurostat so given the way the EU is dribbling out the vaccine it will be a very long wait for even us 73 year olds . Siga siga will make the Mexican manãna seem like a word carrying a real sense of urgency !

I emailed the registration form for non-GESY residents to the MoH. Shouldn´t I receive a confirmative email? Feeling a bit in limbo, not knowing whether it´s been registered.
