Surely, the deal is not done until all 27+1 parties have given the green light?

Well done Boris. It’s good to finally have some certainty.

Predictably the Scottish and Welsh governments are already whinging about it before we know the full details of the deal.

As Lord Heseltine said today, when asked if it was a good deal “It’s a bit like someone on death-row, having their sentence commuted to a life sentence”

You are marginally better off, than dying, with no real hope for a future....

The fisherman aren't too impressed by this oven ready deal and that's before the 2,000 page document has been scrutinized.

Whatever you think, there's no point arguing (still) about the rights and wrongs of Brexit - the country voted so we are compelled to follow that vote

No deal has been done, although one has been proposed. The deal can only come in force after the 27 member states have each, individually, said aye. This is not necessarily a given.

I remember a few years ago in the states ( in a bar of course ) when an American friend of mine said,,,why do you Brits love taking people to the top and then love bringing them down once they get there.......think about it. :?

The fishing industry equates to 0.12% of the UK’s gdp. I guess I’d be upset if I was a fisherman but it was hardly worth throwing the rest of the country under the bus for it.

I always find it odd how emotional the UK becomes about the fishing industry when they produce so little for our economy . Financial services produce around 8% of our GDP and barely receive a mention.

And there's no deal for financial services of which 40% used to be with the EU.
