It makes a visit to M&S more bearable...

What's wrong with a visit to M&S Dominic??? I loved that experience whilst living in Paphos . . . . . . . . with a wee visit up to Stella's cafe for a beer and a toastie afterwards.

However, the area (from your photos) looks completely different now. It looks clean, crisp and definitely beautiful and I hope it is frequented by as many as it was a few years ago. . . . . . . .after we all get rid of the 'nasty covid beastie' of course.

Time taken for husband to find clothes: 5 minutes.

Time taken for wife and daughter ...

And why do the trousers appear in every size but mine?

Mince pies were nice though.

We also had a gentle stroll around the "Old Town" on Sunday. Dead and deserted. Still enjoyed the fab views though.

Mind you, one of my brothers is terrible at buying clothes. He even tries on T shirts for God sakes.

Even pre-covid, I don't think the old town was getting as many visitors as it used to when we first came to Cyprus in 2002. All inclusive has had the effect of some visitors never leaving their hotel. I really think that the municipality needs to put on free bus services from the tourist areas to the old town to try to encourage visitors and also new businesses in the many empty premises.
