We call this area Snake Canyon, because every time I try walking up it I narrowly avoid treading on a large adder. In actual fact it is a gorge that merges with Avakas Gorge further up, but is much more inhospitable. Here we are showing the far end of it, towards some interesting rock formations.
And turn the sound up! We went with panpipes this time around, as it fitted the moody weather.
Footage shot with our new Mavic Pro 2. We are still getting to grips with what this baby can do, but are already loving the results.

Great quality and easier to view than the individual photo format and so defo works for outside imagery and views.

Yes, every winter it flows. A couple of years ago I did a film of it. I shall dig it up.
Contrary to popular belief, this isn't White River Gorge. That is the next one along. In fact, this gorge joins Avakas, though it is easy to miss. When you drive to the carpark, you can see where they meet, if you are paying attention.
