Greyhound, a great film

Post by Uncle D »

If you like a good war film, this pretty much is non stop action from start to finish, with Tom Hanks

Yes it was good. Another good one, also originally an Apple TV product, but also now appearing ‘elsewhere’, is The Banker.

If you use a MAG system no problem, if not you could do a search and see if it is loaded on line..

Just proves how different opinions can be...I thought this film was dreadful..Found it slow and predictable. I am a great Tom Hanks fan and do not believe this film would rank in his best top 10...Sorry!

Agree we are Tom Hanks fans but, I nearly fell asleep after the first ten minutes, turned off after that.

The action didn't start till after 10 minutes, but that's old age for you, 😀

I usually give a film ten or fifteen minutes, I then get a feel if I want to stick with it or not, nothing to do with old age.

Greyhound reminded me of another recent war film directed by Sam Mendes where I got the impression there was a low budget because the limited scenery looked the same - just filmed from different angles.
